American Airlines reported a 10.5% increase in cargo revenue for Q4 2024, reaching $220 million compared to $199 million the previous year. Cargo tonne miles rose by 5% to 526 million, with yield per tonne mile also up by 5% to 41.85 cents. However, total cargo revenue for 2024 saw a slight decline of 1% to $804 million, despite a 12% increase in cargo tonne miles to 2.06 billion. Overall, total operating revenue climbed 3% to $54.2 billion, and net income also rose by 3% to $846 million. American Airlines achieved its debt reduction goal of $15 billion a year ahead of schedule.
