United Airlines saw a 17% rise in cargo revenue for 2024, totaling $1.74 billion, up from $1.49 billion in 2023. Cargo revenue tonne miles increased by 14% to 3.6 billion. In the fourth quarter alone, cargo revenue surged by 30% to $521 million. The airline also launched a new cargo facility at New York/Newark airport, expanding its capacity significantly. Overall operating revenue rose 6% to $57.1 billion, and net income increased by 20% to $3.1 billion. CEO Scott Kirby noted the company's strong performance and plans for continued international expansion in 2025.
