DSV has signed an agreement to acquire DB Schenker from Deutsche Bahn for an enterprise value of €14.3 billion, marking its largest transaction to date. This acquisition aims to enhance DSV's global network and competitiveness, projecting a combined revenue of approximately €39.3 billion and a workforce of around 147,000 across 90 countries. DSV plans to invest €1 billion in Germany over the next 3-5 years to foster growth and job creation. The deal is expected to close in Q2 2025, with financing through equity and debt options.
