Air New Zealand Cargo is set to transport 5,000,000 kgs of cargo over December and January, aiding Kiwi exporters in delivering top-quality New Zealand produce globally for the holiday season. General Manager Anne Dunne highlighted the importance of connecting fresh produce, particularly premium lamb and cherries, with international markets. With 80% of the cherry crop exported before Chinese New Year, the airline is focused on ensuring all cherries reach key markets like Taipei and Shanghai. Additionally, they facilitate the export of grass-fed meat and seafood to various destinations, supporting New Zealand's economy and local communities.
