Portlantis, an interactive experience center in Maasvlakte 2, will open on March 22, 2025, offering visitors a unique look at the port of Rotterdam. It aims to engage audiences of all ages with virtual and augmented reality, exhibitions, and hands-on experiments. CEO Boudewijn Siemons highlights its significance for the economy and employment, while Portlantis Program Manager Eileen Niks notes the inclusion of a restaurant for diverse dining options. EIC Mainport Rotterdam will relocate here to enhance educational opportunities for students, making Portlantis a hub for discovery and enjoyment in the region.
