Ethiopian Airlines collaborates with the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's largest aviation group and a certified Four Star Global Airline, has partnered with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) government to launch Air Congo. The DRC will hold a 51% majority stake, while Ethiopian Airlines will maintain 49% and manage the operation. This initiative aims to boost connectivity, investment, and tourism in the region, contributing to socio-economic growth. Air Congo will start operations with two Boeing 737-800 aircraft serving seven domestic airports, and Ethiopian Airlines will provide training for Congolese personnel in various roles.
