DHL Express has significantly enhanced its aviation network and ground operations in the Asia Pacific region over the past year, resulting in a 6% increase in shipments compared to the previous year. CEO Ken Lee emphasized the region's growth, driven by diversifying supply chains and e-commerce, positioning DHL well for peak demand. Key upgrades include the South Asia Hub near Singapore, which has improved scanning and sorting capacities, and the opening of a new gateway in Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, new flights and facilities in Hong Kong and India further strengthen regional logistics capabilities.
