CPKC and Americold are investigating collaborative development opportunities in Mexico.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) and Americold Realty Trust are set to explore co-development opportunities in Mexico, enhancing their partnership aimed at optimizing temperature-sensitive commodity logistics across North America. Established in June 2023, their collaboration focuses on efficient intermodal freight transportation. Americold is developing a $127 million import-export hub in Kansas City, slated to open in mid-2025, which will facilitate the movement of temperature-sensitive food between the U.S. and Mexico. Both companies plan to invest significantly in further development projects over the next decade.
