Dollar General appoints an executive to lead the strategy for its distribution centers.

In November, Dollar General appointed Kevin Pinchon as senior vice president of distribution and Tom Hutchins as senior vice president of technology. Pinchon, who previously worked at HD Supply, is responsible for distribution center strategy across several states, while Hutchins, formerly at Tractor Supply Company, manages IT operations. Alongside these appointments, Dollar General announced 10 vice president promotions in various departments. The company is adapting to increased competition and inflation pressures, planning to open 800 new stores in 2024 amidst challenging market conditions.
