OnTrac and GLS US have announced forthcoming increases in their rates.

Parcel carriers OnTrac and GLS US have announced shipping rate increases, with OnTrac raising rates by an average of 5.7% starting January 1, 2025, slightly lower than FedEx and UPS's 5.9% hikes. OnTrac will also impose higher surcharges for residential deliveries and large packages. Meanwhile, GLS US will implement a 5.9% increase on December 23, 2024, along with higher surcharges. Both companies are seeking to expand their market presence amidst rising operational costs and volume declines, with OnTrac offering volume-based discounts for shippers.
