Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) concluded 2024 with a 17% rise in international cargo volumes, achieving a record 60,659 tonnes in March alone. The airport now connects to 687 international destinations, with London and Frankfurt among the top markets. Key exports included pharmaceuticals and agricultural products, particularly mango shipments, while domestic cargo grew significantly, driven by e-commerce. The addition of six new cargo airlines and infrastructure improvements enhanced operational efficiency. CSMIA is managed by Adani Airport Holdings, which holds a 74% stake.
