On February 1, Maersk A/S and Hapag-Lloyd AG initiated their collaborative effort, Gemini Cooperation, aimed at creating a flexible ocean network with over 90% schedule reliability. Approximately 340 vessels will be integrated into this shared network, with the first sailings occurring on the launch date and more vessels gradually following. The transition will continue until late May, culminating in a fully operational network by June. This partnership will enhance East/West trade through 29 mainliner services and 28 intraregional shuttle services, promising increased reliability and competitive offerings for customers.
