A.P. Moller-Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd have announced their collaboration, the “Gemini Cooperation,” set to launch in February 2025. This new ocean network aims to enhance East-West trade with a reliability target exceeding 90%. The initiative will replace Hapag-Lloyd’s current alliance and conclude Maersk’s 2M partnership. It will feature 27 to 29 mainline services and 30 shuttle services across various routes, emphasizing sustainability with ambitious decarbonization goals. Both companies are committed to providing enhanced connectivity and reliability for their customers.
