In February 2025, Maersk A/S and Hapag-Lloyd AG will launch the Gemini Cooperation, aimed at creating a flexible ocean network with over 90% schedule reliability. Since their announcement in January 2024, they have finalized details for a joint East-West ocean freight network. As the launch approaches, updates include finalized service maps and an alternate route due to disruptions in the Red Sea. Both companies emphasize reliability and transparency, with a redesigned network featuring either 27 or 29 mainliner services and up to 340 vessels, ensuring high standards for their customers.
