Frank Bauer, currently CFO and Labour Director at Lufthansa Cargo, will become COO on July 1, 2025. Gregor Schleussner, presently Head of Finance at Eurowings, will join the Executive Board as CFO, CHRO, and Labour Director on the same date. Michael Niggemann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in both executives’ abilities, highlighting Bauer’s extensive air cargo experience and Schleussner’s proven financial acumen within the Lufthansa Group. Bauer has been with Lufthansa Cargo since 2007, while Schleussner has been with the group since 2006, showcasing a strong leadership transition.
