In 2024, Liege Airport achieved a cargo throughput of 1,162,899 tonnes, marking a 16% increase from the previous year and the second-best performance in its history. Aircraft movements also rose to 37,029, with cargo aircraft accounting for 27,184 of these. The airport plans a 500 million euro investment over 15 years, aiming to handle over 2 million tonnes of cargo and create 25,000 jobs by 2040. Additionally, Liege Airport is focusing on multimodal logistics and has set ambitious environmental goals, including a 75% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030.
