Starting October 27, LATAM Cargo will increase its weekly flights at Brussels Airport from four to twelve, making it the airline’s main European hub. Utilizing Boeing 767F aircraft with a capacity of about 60 tonnes, the inbound flights will primarily transport perishable goods like flowers from Ecuador to Europe. The return flights will carry pharmaceuticals and automotive parts to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. Additionally, LATAM Cargo plans to enhance its use of sustainable aviation fuel, in line with Brussels Airport’s sustainability goals, supported by federal incentives.
