The ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles will hold a meeting on November 21 from 1-3 p.m. to update the San Pedro Bay Ports Clean Air Action Plan (CAAP), focusing on the 2023 emissions inventory, the Technology Advancement Program, and technology feasibility assessments. The meeting will take place at Long Beach City Hall and will be in-person only, with limited validated parking available nearby. The CAAP, updated in 2017, aims for significant reductions in port-related air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, targeting a 40% reduction by 2030 and 80% by 2050. Public comments will be taken during the meeting.
