Kuehne+Nagel successfully transported a shipment of Nokia telecom equipment from Shanghai to Nouakchott, Mauritania, using a sea-air logistics solution. The shipment, weighing around 44 tonnes and comprising 25 pallets, was initially sent by sea to Dubai before being airlifted to its final destination to meet tight delivery deadlines. This method allowed for priority handling and reduced carbon emissions significantly, equivalent to the emissions from twenty gasoline-powered vehicles over a year. Both Kuehne+Nagel and Nokia emphasized the importance of rapid delivery and sustainability in their operations.
