Kenya Airways has appointed Fitsum Abadi Gebrehawaria as the new Cargo Director, starting March 3, 2025. With 23 years of experience in air cargo, logistics, and aviation, he has previously worked for Ethiopian Airlines, DHL Global Forwarding, and Mobility Advisory Services. Fitsum’s expertise includes strategy formulation, business development, and cargo market expansion. He holds an Executive MBA and an MBA, along with a BSC from Addis Ababa University. The airline also expressed gratitude to outgoing Cargo Director Dick Murianki, who will take on a new role.
