The Port of Los Angeles has appointed Jeffrey Strafford as its new chief financial officer. A respected financial manager with nearly three decades of experience, Strafford will oversee the Port’s financial operations, including accounting, debt, and financial analysis. He previously held the role of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and managed the Port’s $2.6 billion budget. Before joining the Port in 2011, he worked as the purchasing manager for the City of Los Angeles and as a tax compliance officer. Strafford holds a bachelor’s degree in business management economics from UC Santa Cruz.
