Jet Freight Logistics, a Mumbai-based freight forwarding company, is set to launch its new cargo airline, Jet Express, in Q1 2026, starting with one to two Airbus A330-300 passenger-to-freighter aircraft. The company will soon pursue an Air Operator’s Certificate and is considering whether Jet Express will operate as a subsidiary or a separate entity. The aircraft are expected to be converted by Elbe Flugzeugwerke, and operations will focus on routes between India and Europe/Africa, with Delhi and Mumbai as hubs. The decision to use A330-300s was based on shorter waiting times compared to larger freighters.
