In the financial year 2024-25, Indian airports processed 3.7 million tonnes of cargo, marking a 10% increase from the previous year. International cargo rose by 14% to 2.32 million tonnes, while domestic cargo increased by 6% to 1.39 million tonnes. Bengaluru International Airport led with a 21% rise in international cargo, followed by Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai, all showing significant growth. However, Goa experienced a sharp decline of 62% in international cargo. Delhi also topped domestic cargo, with notable increases at other airports, except for Jamnagar, which saw a dramatic 76% drop.
