In September 2024, Hong Kong Airport processed 414,000 tonnes of cargo, marking a 10.2% increase from September 2023. Loaded cargo rose by 13% to 305,000 tonnes, with notable growth in traffic from Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Since April 2024, cargo handled increased by 14.3% to 2.46 million tonnes. Over the past year, total cargo handled grew by 15.9% to 4.82 million tonnes. The airport also saw a significant rise in passenger traffic, with 39 million passengers and flight movements increasing by nearly 41% compared to the previous year.
