In January, Brussels Airport saw an 8% increase in total cargo volumes, reaching 59,385 tonnes, with air cargo up by 11% at 51,526 tonnes. The full-freight segment grew by nearly 4%, and belly cargo rose by 9% due to more passenger flights. Integrator services surged by 20%, while trucked volumes dropped by 9%. The leading import and export regions remained Asia, Africa, and North America. Additionally, passenger numbers rose by 8%, with 1.5 million travelers recorded, and cargo flights increased by 14% compared to the previous year.
