Helen of Troy, the parent company of Hydro Flask and Osprey, is enhancing its sourcing capabilities in Southeast Asia to reduce reliance on China amid tariff challenges. Interim CFO Tracy Schuerman noted that the company aims to dual-source over 40% of its China purchases by FY2026 and over 60% by FY2027, anticipating a decrease in tariff exposure to about 25% of the cost of goods sold. The company has built up inventory levels to buffer against tariffs and plans to implement strategic price increases to mitigate costs.
