Amazon sellers are exploring alternative shipping and storage solutions to address capacity issues within the company’s logistics network as the holiday season approaches. Delays in processing seller inventory, especially at West Coast facilities, have prompted Amazon to reroute goods and lower fees for shipments to the Eastern U.S. However, experts predict that these constraints may persist until 2025, forcing sellers to choose between costly restocking methods or facing low inventories during peak demand. Many are resorting to air freight or utilizing third-party warehouses to ensure stock availability, while some are willing to absorb higher storage costs to maintain inventory levels.
