Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) is set to welcome its first Far East airline, Hong Kong Air Cargo (HKAC), starting February 11, 2025. The inaugural flight will be an Airbus A330-200F from Hong Kong, with additional flights planned for the 18th and 25th. PIK’s Business Development Director, Nico Le Roux, highlighted the airport’s efforts to become a leading e-commerce hub, supported by recent investments in cargo handling and partnerships. Each flight will transport up to 60 tonnes of cargo from major e-commerce platforms like SHEIN, Temu, and TikTok, ensuring efficient delivery through Royal Mail Group and EVRI.
