Hershey has inaugurated a 250,000-square-foot chocolate processing facility in Pennsylvania, marking its first new plant in over three decades. Named after Reese’s founder H.B. Reese, this facility, which took nearly three years to build, will supply chocolate for brands like Reese’s and Kit Kat. The project is part of a broader $1 billion investment to enhance production capabilities across North America, including adding 13 new production lines and upgrading 11 existing ones. Hershey aims to improve efficiency and expand its workforce to support its growth strategy and innovation efforts.
