Malcolm Wilson, CEO of GXO Logistics Inc., announced his retirement planned for 2025 after leading the company since August 2021, during which time it expanded to 130,000 employees and over 200 million square feet of facility space globally. Under his leadership, GXO’s revenue grew from $7.9 billion to $11 billion, with adjusted EBITDA rising from $633 million to $757 million. Wilson’s contributions have been recognized as significant, and his departure has surprised many within the company, especially amidst ongoing acquisition discussions.
