Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Derek Zimmerman as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Supply Chain. In this newly established role, he will manage various aspects including procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution. Zimmerman, who joined Gulfstream in 2011, has held several positions within the company and previously worked in supply chain roles at Piper Aircraft and Harley-Davidson. Gulfstream’s parent company, General Dynamics, has faced supply chain issues recently, impacting aircraft deliveries, but improvements in performance and quality control measures have been noted.
