Global Crossing Airlines Group (GlobalX) will launch round-trip cargo charter flights from Chicago to San Juan starting October 10, 2024, operating three times a week via the Airblox platform. Utilizing the Airbus A321 freighter, each flight will carry 25 tonnes of cargo. This partnership with Airblox aims to enhance air freight capacity and financing. GlobalX’s President, Ryan Goepel, highlights the A321’s efficiency, offering more capacity and reduced fuel consumption compared to previous models.
