This partnership will also relocate battery production for the Mustang Mach-E to Michigan in 2025, aligning with U.S. sourcing requirements for tax credits. As LG expands its manufacturing capacity, both companies aim to meet stringent European regulations on battery recycling and sustainability, enhancing their competitive edge in the EV market.
