FedEx Supply Chain is shutting down operations for a customer at its York, Pennsylvania facility, as detailed in a WARN Act notice filed on December 19. This decision follows the customer’s choice not to renew their contract, affecting 70 of the 83 employees at the site. Layoffs will begin on February 17 and continue through March 3. While services for this particular customer will end, operations for other clients at the facility will persist. FedEx is assisting affected employees in finding other job opportunities within the company.
