FedEx has initiated its first direct all-cargo flight from Singapore’s Changi International Airport to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in the U.S., marking a significant expansion of its network. This service, announced by FedEx Asia Pacific President Kawal Preet, aims to enhance delivery speed for customers in Southeast Asia and solidify Singapore’s role as a key logistics hub. Operated by a Boeing 777 freighter, the flight runs six times weekly, with plans to increase frequency. The new route supports trade between Southeast Asia and the U.S., crucial for industries like e-commerce and electronics.
