FedEx has appointed Gregory Saffy as the Managing Director of Operations and Leon Bruwer as the Managing Director of Sales for its Sub-Saharan Africa operations. Saffy brings over 28 years of logistics experience, previously serving in leadership roles at DSV, where he contributed significantly to operational strategies post-acquisition of UTi. Bruwer, with over 30 years in the sector, has expertise in air and ocean freight and has held key positions at Savino Del Bene and DB Schenker. FedEx’s Vice President for the region expressed excitement about their leadership in enhancing services across the area.
