This week, FedEx transported six giant pandas between the U.S. and China on two flights, marking a significant roundtrip journey. Departing from Atlanta, four pandas, including Lun Lun and Yang Yang, were delivered to Chengdu, while two others, Bao Li and Qing Bao, returned to Washington, D.C. FedEx, which has been transporting pandas for over two decades, donated the transportation costs as part of its corporate responsibility efforts. Animal care experts accompanied the pandas, ensuring their comfort, with Bao Li and Qing Bao set to quarantine before their public debut in January 2025.
