Etihad Airways achieved a 24% rise in cargo revenue, reaching $1.1 billion in 2024, driven by a 12% increase in cargo tonnes carried and improved yields. The airline’s net profit soared to $476 million, bolstered by a strong passenger business and reduced finance costs. Overall revenue climbed 25% to $6.9 billion, with passenger revenue also increasing by 25% to $5.7 billion. In 2024, Etihad expanded its operations significantly, adding over 1,700 weekly flights and launching more than 20 new destinations.
