Etihad Cargo, the logistics division of Etihad Airways, marks its first anniversary in Osaka, Japan, having significantly enhanced its operations in the country. In 2024, it managed 7,440 tonnes of cargo from Japan, with Osaka contributing 39.1%. The airline operates 10 weekly flights from Japan, connecting over 100 global destinations. Notable growth includes a 125.8% increase in its AirMail service, and a strong uptake of its SecureTech product. With a focus on digital transformation and support for Japan’s economy, Etihad Cargo is prepared to facilitate logistics for the upcoming 2025 World Expo in Osaka.
