Etihad Airways has entered a codeshare agreement with STARLUX Airlines, enhancing access to Northeast Asia and solidifying Abu Dhabi’s role as a transit hub. Announced at the IATA AGM in New Delhi, this partnership allows Etihad customers to connect to Japanese cities via Taipei and offers STARLUX passengers access to Etihad’s European routes. Starting September 7, 2025, Etihad will operate daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Taipei with streamlined travel benefits for customers. Both airlines plan joint marketing efforts and a reciprocal frequent flyer program, further expanding their networks.
