Ethiopian Airlines Group celebrates 60 years of uninterrupted service to Rome, Italy, marking a significant milestone in its history. The event, attended by dignitaries from Ethiopia and Italy, highlighted the airline’s commitment to passenger service and the importance of the Rome route in its network. CEO Mesfin Tasew emphasized the airline’s role in connecting Africa and Europe and expressed gratitude to customers and partners. Ethiopian Airlines, which began service to Italy in Rome and expanded to Milan in 2011, will increase flights to Rome to ten weekly from December 1, 2024, while continuing to expand its European destinations.
