Emirates SkyCargo has launched a dedicated weekly freighter service to Narita International Airport, expanding its freighter network to 38 destinations. This marks the first direct freighter connection between Narita and the Middle East, enhancing shipment speed and flexibility. The new service will increase cargo capacity by 100 tonnes each way, focusing on transporting automobile parts, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals. The initiative aligns with Emirates SkyCargo’s strategic goals to grow its freighter network and meet rising demand in Japan, particularly for pharmaceuticals and consumer electronics.
