Embraer’s E190F E-Freighter has achieved full certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), allowing for global operations, and has also received certifications from the FAA and Brazil’s ANAC in 2024. Launched in May 2022, the E190F aims to meet the needs of the air cargo market by replacing older models and supporting the demands of e-commerce for quicker deliveries. The E-Jets converted to freighters offer over 40% more volume, three times the range of large cargo turboprops, and up to 30% lower operating costs than larger narrowbodies.
