DP World has marked a significant milestone in Egypt’s automotive sector by facilitating the first export of 498 locally assembled Nissan Sunny vehicles from Ain Sokhna Port to Jebel Ali, Dubai. This achievement highlights DP World’s commitment to enhancing Egypt’s automotive industry and its role as a regional trade hub, with plans to export up to 10,000 vehicles this year. COO Avnash Iyer emphasized the importance of this shipment in integrating Egypt into global trade networks, while ongoing investments in port infrastructure aim to further improve supply chains and trade efficiency.
