DP World has acquired Cargo Services Far East Ltd, a leading global supply chain provider based in Hong Kong, enhancing its logistics capabilities. With over 2,500 employees across Asia, Europe, South Africa, and the US, Cargo Services specializes in origin services and offers a wide range of logistics solutions. DP World now employs over 115,000 staff and plans to operate more than 200 freight forwarding offices by year-end. The integration aims to leverage both companies’ strengths for improved customer service and operational efficiency, with John Lau taking on a senior role within DP World.
