DHL Supply Chain has appointed Andries Retief as the new Chief Commercial Officer for the EMEA region, effective September 1, 2024. Retief, who joined DHL in 2009, has held various leadership roles across finance, operations, and management in multiple regions, most recently leading growth initiatives in Southeast Asia. He aims to leverage his experience to enhance contract logistics solutions for customers amid rising demand and urbanization. A key focus will be managing the upcoming peak season and improving services for smaller e-commerce businesses through the DHL Fulfillment Network. He succeeds Leonard Aerts, who has moved to Monta Holding B.V.
