DHL Express France has opened a €121 million gateway at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, marking its 40th anniversary at the location. This 50,000 m² facility, set to start operations this summer, is designed to process up to 17,500 parcels per hour and will support both international and local shipments. Housing 400 employees, it aims to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times. The site aligns with DHL’s environmental goals, featuring energy-efficient systems and EV charging stations. This investment reflects DHL’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure in France, having invested €425 million since 2018.
