DHL eCommerce, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group, has relocated its distribution center from Raleigh to Concord, N.C. The new facility, spanning 162,836 square feet and equipped with advanced sorting technology, aims to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability, especially during the upcoming holiday season. With around 150 employees, the center processes B2C e-commerce parcels and offers features like energy-efficient systems and improved automation, allowing for a 30% increase in processing capacity. This move is expected to better serve online merchants in the Southeast region.
