DHL Group and Neste are collaborating to explore how Neste’s renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) can help DHL achieve its decarbonization goals in logistics. DHL aims for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, with interim targets of electrifying two-thirds of last-mile delivery vehicles and using over 30% sustainable fuels by 2030. The partnership includes developing a model for DHL to procure around 300,000 tonnes of unblended SAF annually by 2030, enhancing their sustainability efforts and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transportation.
