DHL 2-Mann-Handling is enhancing its electric vehicle fleet in March to facilitate low-emission delivery of large goods in various German states, including Lower Saxony and Bavaria. The addition of 21 new electric vans aligns with DHL’s sustainability initiatives, contributing to a total of 32,400 electric vehicles in their fleet. Over half of their delivery routes have transitioned to electric, reducing CO2 emissions significantly—each electric vehicle saves approximately 20.4 tonnes of CO2e and 6,400 litres of diesel annually. This initiative reflects consumer preferences for greener deliveries.
